I have lived in Frensham since 2004 and I am particularly passionate about the natural environment and our local community. These were the reasons I initially wanted to get involved in local projects and became a Parish Councillor for Frensham.
I am a scientist with a PhD in Chemistry and Material Science and currently work full time as Vice President of product development for a global medical device company. I lead a team of engineers and scientists developing new medical devices for applications in oncology. I have over 20 years experience in leading complex projects in diverse cross-functional teams which I hope will be useful in my role as Chairman of the Frensham Parish council.
In my spare time I enjoy sports and running, travelling and spending time with friends and family.

I moved to Frensham along with my husband 7 years ago, to enjoy a more peaceful way of life, and enjoy the beautiful surroundings of this rural area.
I previously worked for Surrey Police, where my passion for traffic and Highways issues grew, after working on the traffic department, this led me in taking forward the community speed watch here in Frensham, along with a team of 9 local residents.
This resulted in us trying to reduce the speed of traffic traveling through Frensham, and being able to provide evidence of the problem, I have managed to get new signs and gates on the A287 at the start of the 30mph coming into Frensham from the direction of Churt.

Now being self employed, gives me more time to work on the Parish Council and engage and work along with our local community, and enjoy walking with our dog ‘Kizzy’ and chatting with the residents of our village.

I am proud to be a 3rd generation villager with my Parents and Grand-Parents also being brought up here. I was born in Frensham in 1971 in the house I live in now, I went to school in Frensham and I’m passionate about out Parish and the many cherished memories I have of family life and growing up here.
I work full time as an IT Specialist for a leading global Information Technology company and during my 25 years with them I have worked with a number of differing clients designing, installing and maintaining large scale IT systems as well as training and teaching clients and apprentices.

In my spare time I’m a keen photographer and member of a local club. I also enjoy riding my motorbikes, one of them being my father’s classic bike.

I have lived in Frensham since 2005 and have a strong interest in the local community and how the local neighbourhood and its environmental surroundings can enhance the quality of life for the community. In particular I have a strong interest in how the community assets of the parish can improve the general quality and wellbeing for all in Frensham. I also have an interest in the built environment and how development of the village can be enhanced with sympathetic design principles and a general consideration to local needs. In this regard I am of the view that my involvement as a parish council would make a difference when serving the community.
