The Surrey County Council Fifield Lane (D113) and Moons Hill (D113) Frensham Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2022

Surrey County Council propose to make the above-mentioned Temporary Order under Section 14(1) and 14(7) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to

(1) prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in the following lengths of road -
(a) that length of Fifield Lane (D113) Frensham as extends from its junction with the access to the property known as "Stoneacres" to its junction with (D114) Kennel Lane/Hamlash Lane and (D113) Moons Hill. Alternative Route – A287 Frensham Road; and Kennel Lane; and
(b) that length of Moons Hill (D113) Frensham as extends from its junction with (D114) Kennel Lane/Hamlash Lane and (D113) Fifield Lane to its junction with the north western access to "More House School". Alternative Route – Moons Hill; Summerfield Lane; Broomfields Lane; West End Lane; and Hamlash Lane; and

(2) (a) Suspend "The Surrey County Council Fifield Lane (D113) Frensham Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2022" in its entirety; and
(b) suspend “The Surrey County Council Fifield Lane (D113) Frensham Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2021” in its entirety.

The Order is required to allow desilting works and/or telecoms maintenance works to be carried out by, or on behalf of C8TM within the length of road described in this notice. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 4 days between the hours of 8am and 5pm within the 12-month period of operation of the Temporary Order that commences on 30 August 2022. Advanced warning signs will be displayed, and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access to premises within the affected length of road including access by emergency vehicles to these properties will be maintained at all times, as will access for pedestrians and cyclists. During certain phases of the works, vehicular access to premises may be restricted, when this is the case such restriction of access will apply for no more than eight hours within any 24-hour period.

Shortfield Common Road - South East Water works, closures and diversions from 29th August.

Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2023

Surrey County Council propose to make the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in the entire length of Shortfield Common Road (C26) Frensham.  Alternative Route:  Pitt Lane, Mill Lane, The Street, and (A287) Frensham Road or this route in reverse.  This Order is required to facilitate repair/ replace water connection works for or on behalf of South East Water.  These works are anticipated to be completed over 4 days between the hours of 9am and 4pm within 12 month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 29 August 2023. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure, which is anticipated to be in operation 24 hours per day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for pedestrians and cyclists will be maintained at all times.  It will not be possible to maintain access through the closure for emergency services, residents and businesses and all vehicular traffic will be required to use the signed diversion route. The Council are satisfied that, in accordance with Section 3(2)(a) and 3(2)(b) of the Act, vehicular access to and from premises within the length of road above, or accessible only therefrom, may be restricted in order to avoid danger to persons or other traffic using the road and/or for preventing the likelihood of any such danger arising.

The Reeds Road (D110) Frensham
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2023

Surrey County Council propose to make the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of The Reeds Road (D110) Frensham as extends from its junction with (D109) Old Frensham Road to its junction with (A287) Frensham Road.  Alternative Route: The Reeds Road, Tilford Road, Great Austins, and (A287) Frensham Road.  This Order is required to facilitate safe access to overhead network cabling for tree cutting works for, or on behalf of BT Openreach. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 5 days between the hours of 9.30am and 3.30pm, during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 02 October 2023. Advanced warning signs will be displayed, and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access to premises within the affected length of road, including access by emergency service vehicles to these properties will be maintained at all times, as will access for pedestrians and cyclists.
